1. Delphi makes brakes, radiators, heating and air-conditioning modules, ignitions, seats, axles and other automotive components and sells them to GM and other automakers worldwide. 2. In addition to making brakes for nearly all GM cars and trucks, the Delphi Chassis Systems plants supply components for some Chrysler Corp. and American Isuzu Inc. vehicles. 3. The brakes were made by Bendix Automotive Systems of South Bend, Indiana. 4. When the dust settled, GM retained the right to use an outside contractor to make brakes for its Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. 5. Make that brake. 6.
