1.   Kitna was raised in a church-going family and went to a private Lutheran school in Tacoma until he was in the fourth grade.

2.   Somehow he landed in Atchison, teaching at the little Lutheran school known as Midland College.

3.   The only blacks in Fremont are those who attend Midland College, a small Lutheran school.

4.   The rest would be taught in newly leased classrooms at a Lutheran school four blocks away.

5.   Two Lutheran schools were disqualified from participating in the voucher system based upon applicant questionnaires that favored children raised as Lutherans.

6.   Her legal ward, Toshika Bacon, is a fourth-grader at St. John Nottingham school, a Lutheran school.

7.   Martin Luther Elementary School, only the second Lutheran school in North Dakota, began teaching last Monday.

8.   Rev. Rahed said students from Lutheran schools in Chicago, Illinois and Cologne, Germany, sent paintings and letters expressing solidarity with the Palestinian schoolchildren.
