1.   Demonstrators broke into the Egyptian Embassy at one point and carried out looted items.

2.   But looted items are not so easily identified.

3.   Authorities arrested a number of people suspected of instigating the violence and confiscated cars carrying looted items, the ministry statement said.

4.   Looted items included tires, soap and shampoo.

5.   Men, women, adults and children were seen carrying looted items with big smiles on their face.

6.   People submitted looted items to their respective neighborhood or village chiefs.

7.   Weapons and food were captured along with other looted items, the radio said.

8.   Looted items such as vehicle tires, shoes and iceboxes were also on sale.

9.   Masoodi said he also hoped for help from the international community in the bid to track down looted items which have since been sold to private dealers.
