1.   Chief Frankfurt prosecutor Job Tilmann said the investigation was being launched after the parliamentary immunity committee declined to lodge a challenge.

2.   He suggested that Canada, after consulting other trading partners, might lodge a challenge in an international court.

3.   The Germans lodged several challenges against the decisions of Pakistan umpire Faiz Mohammad Faizi in the second half.

4.   Under parliamentary rules, such a challenge must be lodged before Wednesday -- two weeks after the opening of parliament.
