1.   Erickson lost two assistants over the weekend, when offensive line coach Howard Mudd and linebackers coach Mike Murphy decided to take the same jobs with the Indianapolis Colts.

2.   Moss came in from the Lions, as did offensive line coach Paul Boudreau, so Moss may be more familiar than the Patriot veterans with the blocking schemes.

3.   Offensive line coach Howard Mudd and offensive assistant Jim Zorn are being considered for jobs with the Arizona Cardinals.

4.   Romeo Crennel, his longtime defensive line coach, first on the Giants and then on the Patriots, is said to be headed for the Jets.

5.   So has defensive line coach Odell Haggins who, along with Heggins and Jeff Bowden, played for Bobby Bowden.

6.   There is Al Groh, the defensive coordinator, and, across the field, Fred Hoaglin, the offensive line coach.

7.   To prevent Faulk from doing that will be the job of Sidwell, linebacker coach Bo Pelini, defensive line coach Ray Hamilton, and their players.

8.   But he fired offensive coordinator Kippy Brown, offensive line coach Rich McGeorge and quarterbacks coach Larry Seiple.
