1.   The lamps look, to say the least, unreliable.

2.   Yellow street lamps looked lurid in the greyness.

3.   My old end-table lamps look bulky and out of place.

4.   The bread baskets are hand-wrought and the lamps look like delicate evening bags.

5.   The desk and side tables seemed a little more current, of washed wood, but one lamp looked like it might have been in a fight.

6.   The lamps look like portable fireplaces.

7.   The huge brown antenna lamps look like giant cockroaches.

8.   The lamp looks both blissful and doomed.
