1.   And in Sacramento, both houses of the Legislature voted to impose a statewide ban on the manufacture and sale of junk guns.

2.   More than two dozen cities in California have banned the sale of junk guns.

3.   They are confronting firearms manufacturers, organizing gun exchanges, counseling families on everything from aggressive behavior in children to the dangers of junk guns.

4.   With polls showing that most Americans support some sort of gun control, states such as Maryland and North Carolina have banned junk guns.
