1.   Finally, Defense Department officials acknowledged that Iraqi chemical munitions, detonated by American troops after the war, probably had poisoned soldiers downwind after all.

2.   The agency sat on evidence that chemical weapons had been present at an Iraqi munitions dump blown up soon after the Persian Gulf War.

3.   Among Iraqi munitions in the depot were bombs filled with mustard agents and the nerve agents sarin and cyclosarin.

6.   The Pentagon currently is investigating whether veterans are suffering from exposure to Iraqi chemical weapons inadvertently destroyed by US troops who demolished an Iraqi munition dump after the war.
