1. Insulate the ducts that carry heat to your home with bubble wrap. 2. Be sure to insulate all ducts, including cold-air returns. 3. A long-term fix is to insulate the ducts in a hot air system. 4. One important thing to do is to insulate that duct where it runs between the joists, or put it under the floor insulation. 5. So, insulate all ducts with two-inch-thick duct insulation with a vinyl skin on the outside. 6. Use duct insulation to insulate the ducts. |
