1.   Digital Island, which provides e-commerce infrastructure services, had already been working for Microsoft, providing services like live and on-demand streaming media.

2.   In February, MCI WorldCom agreed to outsource all of its application development, maintenance agreements and infrastructure services to Electronic Data Systems of Plano, Texas.

3.   InfoSpace.com, a provider of Internet infrastructure services based in Bellevue, Wash.

4.   The company provides infrastructure consulting services for wireless communications clients that offer cellular paging and phone service.

5.   The money will be invested in companies supplying infrastructure services, such as electric utilities, telecommunications companies, water utilities and gas transport and distribution companies.

6.   By coming together, the two companies could be in the forefront of private infrastructure services.

7.   Garchitorena noted that the tourism master plan has identified several areas for improvement in the provision of infrastructure services specifically in transportation and communication sectors.

8.   The group is already represented in Australia through several businesses, including several leasing operations and GELLCO, a joint venture with Lend Lease for infrastructure financial services.

9.   The three-day meeting focused on projects drawn up by the three governments in infrastructure services and investments in tourism, mineral industries and telecommunications.
