1.   As well as informing users of the receipt and content of an SPR, a LIFESPAN user must be nominated to pursue the SPR.

2.   The mail system is also used to inform users when they are due to perform some administrative tasks, such as assessing proposed changes or endorsing SSRs.

5.   In addition, SSRs may be sent out at any time to inform users of the current status of software.

6.   It may report an update to software or inform users of specific procedures for using a piece of software.
