1.   Hot nuts for nibbles?

2.   Turn the hot nuts into a bowl and toss with the bourbon mixture.

3.   Transfer the hot nuts to a clean dishtowel and rub them with the towel to loosen the skins.

4.   Tucking hot nuts in a damp towel for a few minutes also loosens peels and skins.
