1.   Access to the Hlaing campus of the Yangon Institute of Technology remained closed Saturday morning.

2.   At one entrance to the Hlaing campus, two truckloads of riot police were visible.

3.   Authorities sealed off the Hlaing campus from then until Monday.

4.   Examinations are scheduled for Monday, and students at the Hlaing campus said they wanted them delayed.

5.   Security appeared to be relaxed when the students were ferried back to the Hlaing campus afterward.

6.   Roads to the Hlaing campus of the Yangon Institute of Technology were sealed off Thursday evening and remained closed Friday.

7.   An AFP reporter arrived at the scene with others from the Hlaing campus who smuggled themselves past a police check point on a public bus.
