1.   Concrete pillars for highway bridges that previously only had steel rods inside are now enclosed in steel.

2.   Scott Weaver of Shelby, N.C., had a rod placed into his left leg to repair a fractured tibia.

3.   He still has a rod in the leg and was held out of contact drills this weekend as a precaution.

4.   McCoy had a rod, plates and screws inserted in his broken right tibia and fibula bones in his right leg.
