1.   All around the house there are beautiful signs of her recreation work -- hydrangeas, phlox, day lilies, hardy begonia, daphne.

2.   Also, like many gardens I know, mine is populated every year with roaming impatiens, strawberry geraniums and hardy begonias.

3.   Concrete planters are brimming with hardy begonias.

4.   Hardy begonia grandis, with seeds as fine as dust, has thoroughly established itself in a wide swath under the oak.
