1.   Television replays suggested Tendulkar had grounded his bat before he crashed into Akhtar, but it was off the ground when the ball hit the stumps.

2.   TV replays appeared to clearly indicate that Wallace had not grounded his bat when the stumps were broken.

3.   Chanderpaul was declared run-out by the third umpire even as repeated slow motion replays showed the batsman having grounded his bat well in time.

4.   On one occasion, the third umpire in the pavilion signalled a batsman run out even when replays clearly showed he had grounded his bat in time.
