1.   Each grave can hold as many as three coffins, stacked, so family members can be buried together.

2.   Instead, their graves held mortuary offerings like small clay or stone altars, bronze mirrors, bronze spoons and seashells.

3.   One grave holds the bodies of three young brothers who were burned to death in their beds in a fire-bombing attack two weeks ago.

4.   Archaeologists said the destroyed graves held historical and archaeological significance even though they were unmarked.
