1.   The carbon in pulp process uses higher grade ore which is crushed, milled and mixed with chemical solutions in large tanks.

2.   PosGold said gold ore grades are expected to increase as higher grade ore blocks are brought into production.

3.   Some mines again were forced to treat low grade stockpiled ore when open pits became too wet and muddy to work.

4.   The lower production resulted from lower grade gold ore.

5.   The lower production was a result of lower grade gold ore.

6.   This had resulted in a higher proportion of lower grade open pit ore being treated.

7.   In recent years, new mining technology has enabled mines to extract lower grade ore profitably and several abandoned sites have been reopened.

8.   In the meantime, mill feed would be supplemented by lower grade ore from the open pit and lower grade ore from the underground mine.

9.   Since the restart, the partners have been trying to make up lost production time and by processing stockpiles of higher grade ore.
