Canterbury, which finished fourth in the regular season, overwhelmed the top-ranked Reds with an impressive running display, grabbing two tries in each half. 3. Dallas scored two tries and New Zealander Halligan grabbed a try and kicked seven goals. 4. Fullback John Hopoate grabbed two tries -- one in each half -- to join Moore in leading Manly to victory in wet and windy conditions at Brookvale Oval. 5. Hunter fullback Robbie Ross also grabbed three tries in the win over Sheffield. 6. Russell, formerly with Parramatta, grabbed two tries in each half. 7. Rogers, son of former Australian test player Steve Rogers, grabbed two tries in each half. 8. Country rallied briefly early in the second half before forwards Steve Williams and John Davies grabbed further tries. 9. The Warriors ran in eight tries, with Connolly and winger Andy Johnson grabbing two apiece, while Farrell booted over five goals and also grabbed a try. 10.
