1.   I really do think it s time to change keepers, Lukic is a good keeper -- but is uninspired these days.

2.   Chewy cookies, like oatmeal and chocolate chip, are also good keepers.

3.   David Kramer is a good solid keeper.

4.   Either shoots or sprouts are not good keepers, so buy them when they have that fresh-picked look, and use them within a day or two.

5.   Natural breads without any preservatives or additives are not good keepers.

6.   This salad is a good keeper and can be made a day in advance of serving and kept in the fridge.
