1.   Although hip-hop as a whole still offers myriad messages, most of its commercial pace setters are now gangster rappers.

2.   And, sometime soon, they must choose among summer tour offers from pop singer Janet Jackson, pop dance artist Moby and gangster rapper Snoop Dogg.

3.   Before the bombing, its seditious bombasts would make gangster rappers blush.

4.   Gangster rappers must take responsibility for the negative effects their product has on young people and, by extension, on black communities at large.

5.   Gangster rappers insist that their songs take place here and now.

6.   Snoop Doggy Dogg, the platinum-selling gangster rapper and defendant in a murder case, can now add film industry pariah to his list of accomplishments.

7.   He needs to get used to it for a movie role as a gangster rapper managed by Lisa Kudrow.
