1.   Thereafter the DTB received official support from the German banks which have re-routed Bund futures contract business through their own domestic exchange.

2.   Despite some problems, however, the low-key regulatory approach is appropriate, given the wholesale and trade-based nature of most UK futures exchange business.

3.   It may take time for the Hanover exchange to develop liquidity in its futures business, analysts said.

10.   Most large local institutions are not participating in the futures market directly because they are bound by regulations which do not allow them to trade in the futures business.
