1.   I was tired of frying potato pancakes for Hanukkah and then being grilled by the Food Police.

2.   No matter how many pancakes I fried, there were no leftovers.

3.   Spoon batter onto the griddle and fry the pancakes until golden on both sides, turning once.

4.   When sizzling, fry the pancakes for a few minutes on each side.
