1. As the bombing of barracks, fuel dumps and troop concentrations went into its second week, the third front produced the most tangible signs of progress. 2. A dissipating front will produce scattered strong thunderstorms in parts of the northern Mississippi Valley and southern Great Lakes. 3. A Pacific front will produce coastal showers in the Northwest, while some freezing drizzle and mountains showers occur in the interior. 4. A weak front will produce isolated showers in the Northwest. 5. A weak front will produce patchy clouds near the Canadian border. 6. The front will produce clouds and a few light showers from extreme northern New England to the eastern Great Lakes Wednesday afternoon. 7. The front will produce a few showers as far east as Wisconsin, but the largest concentration of storms will be along the Front Range of the Rockies. 8. The front will produce partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands this afternoon. 9. The front will produce scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over mainly the northwest one third of Puerto Rico this afternoon. 10. This front will not produce a significant increase of clouds and showers across the islands. |
