1.   As a cool front presses east from the Rockies, isolated potent thunderstorms will develop over the Dakotas.

2.   As the front presses toward the warm and humid southern Middle Atlantic and Southeast coasts, some thunderstorms will erupt.

3.   Farther north, isolated severe thunderstorms are possible in the northern Rockies as a cool front presses slowly southeast.

4.   Gusty thunderstorms will also pose a risk over Florida as a cool front presses south across the peninsula.

5.   Isolated, heavy thunderstorms will erupt across the lower Mississippi River Valley as a cool front presses slowly east across the Gulf states.

6.   Later Tuesday, thunderstorms will erupt along the Northeast seaboard as a cool front presses eastward from the Appalachians.

7.   Scattered showers will push across the Northeast as a front presses south across the region.

8.   Though the cool front will press offshore Friday, unsettled conditions will linger as a southward-sagging upper-level low pressure system drifts over the region.

9.   The front is pressing for the posts of president, vice president and ministries of defence and interior.
