1.   The hedges are very overgrown and pedestrians are forced into the middle of the road with the consequent danger from traffic.

2.   Their stalls often obstruct the narrow sidewalks, forcing pedestrians into the busy streets and impeding access to established stores.

3.   Peddlers were banned from setting up their booths, which had blocked sidewalks and forced pedestrians into the streets, making traffic even more chaotic.

4.   Pedestrians were often forced onto the roads as customers at the stalls monopolised the pavements.

6.   At least one man was wounded Saturday afternoon as shooting flared in Sarajevo forcing pedestrians once again to run for their lives.
