1.   All foods are organically grown, except when foods with pesticide residues are used for testing.

2.   All high-calorie foods are fatty, and all high calorie meals are fatty.

3.   All the excess food is in the wrong places or in the wrong hands.

4.   Although food is more plentiful these days, child mortality remains dangerously high.

5.   And yet many foods are now refined to such an extent that the natural fibre has been removed.

6.   As yet there is no proof that genetically modified foods are harmful to humans.

7.   But fresh food is available to hotels, and many people have stockpiled supplies.

8.   But the delicious food had been too delicate for their hearty taste.

9.   But we did find comfort in knowing the food was there.
