7.   The simple construction of flush doors eliminated the need for sophisticated joinery.

8.   These doors are constructed around a hollow frame like ordinary flush doors, but the frame is covered with molded hardboard panels.

9.   Unfortunately, because of the workmanship involved, panel doors are considerably more expensive than flush doors.
