1.   A AAA battery attached to the GlucoWatch releases an electric current into the skin that enlarges the pores and causes the fluid to seep out.

2.   If this happens, fluid can seep behind the retina and cause it to start peeling away from the wall of the eye.

3.   When inhaled, phosgene damages the capillaries in the lungs, allowing watery fluid to seep into the air cells.

4.   Fluid seeps into their lungs, blocking breathing.
