1.   At least attic floor insulation can be installed in winter.

2.   One important thing to do is to insulate that duct where it runs between the joists, or put it under the floor insulation.

3.   So after the vents are in place, check that the floor insulation does not extend to the eaves.

4.   Some houses lack floor insulation.

5.   Then cut the floor insulation to fit up against the baffles.

6.   A faulty electric wire was being blamed for setting floor insulation on fire.
