1.   Weak flow aloft means that the storms will be slow-moving, bringing torrential rain, possibly even causing localized flash flooding.

2.   Additional flash flood watches and warnings will be issued as necessary today.

3.   Barbadian officials had set up emergency shelters and predicted flash flooding, but there were no serious problems, said Clive Lorde, spokesman for the Barbadian Emergency Services.

4.   The greatest danger from the weather system at this point is heavy rains and flash flooding, said the Weather Service.

5.   Thai radio reported flash flooding across much of central Thailand Sunday.

6.   The flash floods ripped away houses, roads and bridges.
