1.   Miners at other sites have found hazardous waste drums, and excavation could release toxic gases.

2.   The local fire department visited the scene instead, and found drums of PCBs stored there, a violation that was viewed as very serious.

3.   More than a hundred workers were sickened by fumes when they found the drums.

4.   Eight more drums were found Thursday.
