2.   As the camera peers up at buildings that more or less look alike, the film conveys the panicky feeling of being completely lost in an intimidating urban wilderness.

3.   But the film conveys their interlocking roles in a global drug economy with law enforcement agents as underdogs.

4.   In dropping the audience in the battle, literally making viewers lose perspective, the film conveys no sense of any noble cause to save humanity.

5.   Still, what all three films do successfully convey is the passion and primal power surrounding communal dance.

6.   The director says the film accurately conveys the larger truths of the story.

7.   The handsomely photographed film conveys a pungent vision of the tropical landscape and its harshness, heat and beauty.

8.   The respect that the film conveys for their highly skilled professionalism is the best thing about it.

9.   With their Cold War paranoia clearly on display, even these campy films convey the aura of fear and mystery that the cold facts about Roswell never approach.

10.   Yet, in fairness, the film also conveys the invigorating energy that went into setting up the colony, and some of the communal vigor, too.
