1.   He was standing on a piling at the ferry slip in Brooklyn when the ferry hit it a glancing blow.

2.   It is a ballpark, hard by the ferry slip, and it beckons much like the Statue of Liberty just across the harbor.

3.   Smaller terminals and landings are also planned, as is a restoration of the historic ferry slips at Hoboken Terminal by New Jersey Transit.

4.   The name came from the convergance of railroad lines that ran to the San Francisco ferry slips, to the town of San Rafael and into West Marin.
