The U.S., Australia and other big farm product exporters have demanded that agriculture be included in the trade liberalization plan. 3. Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand, for example, are all in the Cairns Group of farm exporters set up during the Uruguay Round. 4. Farm exporters such as Australia, the United States and New Zealand have strongly opposed exceptions. 5. Farm exporters, such as the United States, Australia and New Zealand, say trade liberalisation should be comprehensive. 6. Farm product exporters in the United States are against this demand. 7. Their insistence has raised objections from other members, especially farm exporters such as Australia, the United States, Thailand and New Zealand. 8.
