1. Babcock and Stan Kasten took great pains Monday to speak no ill of the newly deposed, but it was clear that familiarity had had its accustomed effect. 2. But even familiarity has its limits. 3. Familiarity would have to be their ticket to fame. 4. Good as this orchestra is, it has been around for most of the rest of the year, and familiarity has a way of breeding empty seats. 5. KNBC is already taken in Los Angeles and KRON may be meaningless post-sale, but familiarity has merit and perhaps NBC could just keep the same letters. |
