1.   Blue harvesters churn through the pecan groves, sucking fallen nuts off the ground and spewing out a mulch of twigs and leaves.

2.   A fight had erupted over who owned the fallen nuts.

3.   Golden leaves were raining down, and underfoot was an abundance of fallen nuts.

4.   So did wild turkeys, and people, who made chestnut flour and fattened their hogs in the forest on the fallen nuts.
