1.   Travel and research grants are available from the faculty board and from certain trust funds.

2.   The committee reports to the faculty board, and final approval is given by the General Board.

3.   The filling of the posts as they become vacant is decided by the General Board after consideration of recommendations from the faculty board.

4.   After two poor evaluations, the university would convene a faculty advisory board to work with a professor to improve his or her performance.
