1.   Erath County, especially north of Stephenville around Huckabee, also should have excellent hunting around sunflower fields and stock tanks.

2.   In fact, hunters should find good to excellent hunting for mourning doves in the desert this season.

3.   Kern County hunting was spotty, with good to excellent hunting reported in the southern end, including Arvin, Taft and Bakersfield.

4.   Tejon Ranch, which grants paid entry to hunters, reported excellent hunting in the eastern end of the Tehachapi Mountains.
