1.   The agreement was endorsed by Indian Home Affairs Minister S. B. Chavan, Indian External Affairs Minister Madhavsinh Solanki and Sri Lankan Foreign Affairs Minister Harold Herath.

2.   An ABC executive said Ms. Fili-Krushel was careful not to imply that the other members of the coalition had endorsed the agreement.
