1.   Treatment with cyclosporin A in the doses used did not inhibit eicosanoid formation by the pancreatic tissue ex vivo.

2.   Inhibition of eicosanoid formation after combined administration of indomethacin and cyclosporin A was not more pronounced than after indomethacin alone.

3.   Indomethacin in the dose used significantly reduced eicosanoid formation in the pancreas ex vivo.

4.   Combined treatment with indomethacin and cyclosporin A did not further increase the inhibitory action of indomethacin on pancreatic eicosanoid formation.
