1.   It is important to leave a gap between the water surface and the drip tray to allow this.

2.   Choose a machine in which the shelves and supports are removable, where there are no inaccessible areas, and where there are no drip trays to empty.

3.   When wisps of smoke start curling around the drip tray like incense, slide the lid closed and start the timer.

4.   Your unit may have a drip tray under the freezer compartment.
