1.   Some donor countries have criticized the way in which their aid is being distributed.

2.   We urgently need more assistance from donor countries.

3.   The IMF agreement allowed the government to seek further rescheduling of its debt to foreign donor countries represented by the Paris Club.

4.   The suspension cast doubt on the prospect of larger-scale aid disbursements by Western donor countries.

5.   An independent board would decide which programs are eligible for help from by this fund, and donor countries would decide which program to support.

6.   And it remains unclear whether the spending targets will be met, either by the wealthy donor countries or the cash-strapped recipients, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.

7.   AFRICA MORE AID SOUGHT FOR MALARIA DRUGS Doctors Without Borders called for donor countries to help Africa pay for more effective, and expensive, anti-malarial drugs.

8.   Aid has been slowed by discord between the donor countries and among the Palestinians themselves, and by disputes over monitoring of the money.

9.   But donor countries say they will provide more money only if they are given more say in management.
