1.   Abu Hassan has asked the ACA to monitor all Selangor Umno divisions that were holding elections for the posts of divisional head, deputy head and vice head.

2.   Annuar added all divisional heads had fully agreed to allocate suitable positions to party members who could not contest for the top divisional post.

3.   Former Menteri Besar Tan Sri Dr Abdul Hamid Pawanteh is the incumbent divisional head.

4.   In Muar, Parit Bakar Assemblyman, Abdul Malik Munip defeated the incumbent divisional head Aziz Yassin.

5.   In Sabah, except for the Gaya Division, all the incumbent divisional heads were either retained unnopposed or re-elected when the divisional elections ended today.

6.   Opening the Serdang Umno division conference later, Anwar said there was wisdom in avoiding contests for divisional head posts.

7.   The decision, which only applies to divisional heads, was reaffirmed by the council.

8.   This also applies to cases involving supreme council members who are not divisional heads from taking on the incumbents.

9.   The beleaguered telecommunications group said former divisional head Patricia Russo would re-join the company as CEO, quitting her post as president of Kodak.
