1.   A powerful disturbance will push into California with heavy showers in the lower elevations and wet snow in the mountains.

2.   Friday, the weakening disturbance will push offshore.

3.   Heavy snow will fall from eastern Utah through the mountains of Colorado on Monday as a disturbance pushes through the area.

4.   Lighter showers and mountain snows will linger across the state, however, as many weak disturbances push ashore.

5.   Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains will affect northern California, western Oregon and western Washington as a potent disturbance pushes inland from the Pacific.

6.   On Monday, this disturbance will push out over the Plains, causing a cool rain with embedded thunder across parts of Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

7.   Skies will turn partly sunny in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states as a jet stream disturbance pushes off the coast.

8.   Windswept rain will pelt parts of the West Coast from northern California to Seattle as a powerful disturbance pushes ashore.

9.   A separate disturbance pushed cloudy skies and isolated showers into northwestern Washington.

10.   Another weak disturbance pushed a cold front into the north-central states and produced a few light sunnyow showers in sections of North Dakota and northerain Minnesota.
