6.   A rapidly moving jet stream disturbance may produce an early morning rain or snow shower near the North Carolina coast.

7.   A strong jet stream disturbance will produce mostly cloudy skies and a few showers over the upper Midwest and the Great Lakes.

8.   A potent disturbance will produce locally heavy snow over the mountains of the central and southern Rockies.

9.   A sluggish disturbance will also produce showers and thunderstorms in the southern Rockies.

10.   A strengthening disturbance will produce intermittent snow over the northern Rockies.
