1.   Areas of snow and ice will develop from northern Texas to the mountains of southern Colorado as a jet stream disturbance approaches from the southwestern states.

2.   As a jet stream disturbance approaches later Wednesday, the stage will be set for isolated clusters of potent thunderstorms across parts of the Dakotas.

3.   A band of showers with some strong thunderstorms will develop from eastern Kansas to central Texas as a jet stream disturbance approaches from the west.

4.   A potent disturbance will approach southern Oregon causing heavy showers and more widespread mountain snows into northern Nevada.

5.   A potent Pacific disturbance will approach the West Coast with thickening clouds followed by showers late in the day.

6.   Cool, moist air will dominate the interior Northeast as a disturbance approaches from the Great Lakes.

7.   Louisiana and southeast Texas will be damp as a jet stream disturbance approaches from the western Gulf of Mexico.

8.   On its heels, high clouds will start to stream over the upper Ohio Valley and eastern Great Lakes later Saturday as a disturbance approaches from the West.

9.   On Thursday, as the disturbance approaches the western Gulf states, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will stream northward into portions of Texas and Louisiana.

10.   On Wednesday, as a potent disturbance approaches the central Plains, the risk of strong to severe thunderstorms will rise.
