2.   Reps. Jill Long and Frank McCloskey, two Democrats whose districts lean Republican, are also threatened, McCloskey by John Hostettler, who is backed by Christian conservatives.

3.   The district usually leans Republican.

4.   But Johnson would have the edge because the district leans Republican.

5.   The Indiana district leans Republican, but come November the GOP faces a potentially major complication.
