1.   The case against the disco owners was filed with the Metropolitan Trial Court in Quezon City, part of Metro Manila.

2.   The disco owner, Jan Veerman, has said pine branches blanketing the ceiling were ignited by a reveler waving sparklers.

3.   The disco owners are also being tried on a separate charge of negligence.

4.   The six disco owners were charged with violating the anti-graft law.
