1.   Falun Gong officials have disavowed any link to the incident, saying that suicide and violence violate their teachings.

2.   But officials at the campaign headquarters of ruling party mayoral candidate Alfredo del Mazo refused to specifically disavow any links to those who had produced the video.

3.   Talking separately with reporters, Rugova disavowed any links with ethnic-Albanians responsible for the violence in Macedonia.

4.   The group also has disavowed its links to several people jailed on subversion and other charges.

5.   The rebel group has disavowed any links with the attackers.
